PushtoDocuWare is a software application installed on the Kodak Scan Station 500 which allows users to walk up and log in, scan, index and store paper based documents directly into a DocuWare Filing Cabinet, without the need to open the DocuWare Client on their workstation.
The user simply places the document in the Kodak Scan Station’s paper tray, and pushes a button on the touch screen. The document is scanned at high speed, creating an electronic copy; images of the pages are displayed on the touch screen, allowing the user to preview the document before storing. The user then selects a DocuWare Filing Cabinet and fills in the index fields using available select lists or free text entry via the on screen keyboard.
Then by the press of a button the document is automatically stored into the selected Filing Cabinet ready for further processing.
